We haven’t had much time for watching TV this summer which was a doubly good thing because it seemed there was nothing worth watching on anyway! So I’ve been pining away for some favorites to come back!
Happy Endings
This show is just quirky and fun. It centers around a group of friends in the aftermath of a wedding that doesn’t happen. Max and Penny are tied as my favorite character.
Love Bites
I love the way this show is structured. There are 3 main characters/couples and the storylines weave other characters in and around their lives in really interesting ways. The plots vary from very poignant to extremely silly but it all works.
How I Met Your Mother
Keith wasn’t as huge a fan but I thought the writing last season was great. I felt it did a great job of portraying the different things that people in our generation are begining to face if not already in the throes of facing; infertility, job insecurity, death of parents, etc.
The League
The League is just rowdy, inappropriate fun. Based on a group of friends in a fantasy football league in Chicago, it makes you laugh at things that you know you shouldn’t but you just can’t freakin’ help it. I recently saw on Facebook that they’re doing live shows and I think it would be so fun to go to one!! When I say inappropriate, I mean it so please do not watch with the kiddos around, or parents, or those who are decent, good people. I am so bummed we have to wait until October 6 for the season premiere!
