I was a busy momma today!! Not only did I get the menu plan done, I cooked the chicken for two meals in the crockpot and made two batches of the meatloaf mixture – one is ready in the fridge for dinner tomorrow. On top of that I browned up two pounds of ground beef for the freezer. The only thing I wish I would have accomplished is the grocery shopping but I can do that tomorrow after work so no big deal! I also wanted to make the enchilada sauce for our Bean and Cheese Enchiladas but that should be easy enough to do some night this week.
While I was getting the recipes for the week into Ziplist to generate my grocery list, I came up with the idea to pin all the recipes on Pinterest since they came from all different sites. Now I don’t need to remember on which site I found a recipe, I’ll just go to my “On the Menu This Week” board.
On the Menu This Week:
Mini Meatloaves, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies
Buffalo Chicken Wraps, Chips, Baby Carrots
Shredded Thai Chicken Salad
Bean N Cheese Enchiladas
Down Home Mac N Cheese
For links to any recipes, check out my Pinterest board, On the Menu This Week. You can also check out other bloggers’ menu plans at Org Junkie’s Menu Plan Monday. This post will be linked there.
I keep hearing about pinterest, this sounds like a really practical solution. I thought it was more of a scrapbooking thing.

It just kind of hit me while I was doing my menu plan this week to “pin” the recipes to keep them in one easily accessible spot. I’ve been using pinterest to keep track of ideas for Brooke’s 3rd birthday. That’s worked well for sharing ideas with my mom who is helping me with the party. Its really addicting though!
