I’ve gone back and forth for a long time trying to figure out what kind of coupon organization system would work best for us. Mostly, I didn’t want to invest in supplies to find out it was a waste of time & money because it didn’t work.
Recently however, I watched a series of tutorial videos on the Coupon Divas site, including one on how she set up her coupon binder. It all made sense to me and I had a decent Amazon balance from Swagbucks so I decided to give it a try.
So far, it seems like a good system. I have a better idea of what coupons I have to start with because I have to concentrate a little more while I put them in categories. And while I’m in the store, its very easy to see what I have with a quick flip of a page.
Do you coupon? How do you have your coupons organized?
Just discovered your blog through MPM. Love it! I tried using a coupon binder for a while but I found it too time consuming to put each coupon in it’s own space. I now use an index card file with dividers (similar to your envelope box, but it has a lid that closes to prevent spills!). I find it is much easier and more convenient for me.

The jury is still out the binder. It’s great for finding coupons while you’re in the store but putting them in the binder is time consuming. I’m hoping it will become more streamlined as we keep doing it. I definitely underestimated how many protector pages I would need as well. 20 pages hasn’t been enough.
Thanks for stopping by!!
